Conversion To Christianity Banned, Christian
Missionaries Told To Leave Country
by Tom Alago
Much Christian attention has been directed towards persecution from Islamic jihadist groups such as ISIS. It is now becoming increasingly clear that the threats of persecution against Christians are actually multi-faceted and extend far beyond the reach of Islamic extremists alone.
It would seem that Christianity is taking center stage as the common enemy in the eyes of many cultures and belief systems worldwide. Could this be mere coincidence, or is it instead a carefully orchestrated campaign; a mere reflection of the age-old spiritual battle between good and evil?
Nepal seems to be the latest hotspot for intensified attacks against Christians and their faith. Nepal’s 31 million-strong population is predominantly Hindu, at about 81%. Christians make up a mere 1.4% of the entire population. A group of Hindu extremists from the Morcha Nepal, or ‘Morcha’ radical group, is now reportedly using leaflets to warn all foreign Christian missionaries to leave Nepal.
This demand follows a series of church bomb attacks in recent weeks. The attacks did not kill or injure but did cause significant damage to property. Incidents of Bible burning by Hindu youth, designed to heighten fear in Christians, have also been reported. Christians are being blamed for “corrupting the country,” while a new Constitution bans people from converting others to their faith.
All Christian organizations and institutions are also considered ‘fair game’. Despite several arrests, the Morcha have yet to stop threatening Christian missionaries to leave the country. Rather, they have proceeded to declare Nepal a ‘Christian-free’ Hindu nation. They have narrowed down their options to Christians in three grim choices:
1. Leave Nepal immediately;
2. Reconvert to Hinduism;
3. Refuse to leave or convert, and die.
The threats have so far seemingly not shaken the faith of Christian believers, of whom sources report that, “Christians continue their mission of dialogue and proclamation of the Gospel of charity toward all.”
Naturally, concerns have been raised about religious freedom in Nepal and the concurrent threat of religious fundamentalism that threatens to kill off the remnants of the Church in Nepal. Christian groups such as Mission Network News (MNN) and Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) suggested that Christians around the world pray for the government of Nepal; for the wisdom of Nepal’s leaders; for the people of Nepal; and especially for Nepalese Christians as they continue to practice their faith under such difficult circumstances.
Presbyterian (PCUSA) mission spokesman Hunter Farrell stated that, whereas there was much concern for the safety of indigenous believers in Christ, the PCUSA’s efforts can still continue through them. He anticipated the growth of the underground church in a similar manner as occurred during the ‘hidden years’ of China’s nascent persecuted church.
So what should the Christian viewpoint be in these challenging and distressing circumstances? Jesus Christ told His followers to expect persecution, but that He would be with the Church through it all, and that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. In addition to the warnings of upcoming persecution, He also offered strength and encouragement with such words as these:
– Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:11, 12).
– These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for the international community to condemn the Palestinian Leadership’s condoning of terrorism and its praise for those who kill Israel civilians after a bloody weekend saw two pairs of Israeli parents attacked by Palestinian terrorists.
After gunmen killed the first couple, Eitam and Na’ama Henkin in a drive-by ambush near Alon More (in front of their four children), a second couple and their two-year old child were stabbed by another Palestinian terrorist in the Old City of Jerusalem Saturday night while on their way to the Western Wall. The father has since succumbed to his wounds.
What is finally getting world attention is not only the violent act itself but the horrific response of the Palestinian community to such acts.
Adelle Banita-Bennett, now the widow of Aharon Banita-Bennett who died of his wounds describes the horrific attack, “I ran for dozens of meters with a knife in my shoulder, bleeding. Arabs in the area who saw this horrible scene clapped and laughed, and told me that they hoped for my quick death. I felt I was about to faint,” she said. “I tried to hold on to someone who passed by, and they just shook me off and kicked me, and said ‘die.’”
When news of the attacks reached the Palestinian populace there were celebrations by hundreds in the streets with the waving of flags, fireworks and the traditional handing out of candy for the murder of innocent Jews.
Palestinian social media networks also lit up with the “ecstatic” news about the killings. Palestinian social media has become one of the most virulent propagators of incitement on every level including the official pages of Fatah and Hamas.
Rival Palestinian terror group Hamas also applauded the attack and referred to the shooting as an “heroic operation.”
The Palestinian leadership’s response to these attacks was not surprisingly, to blame Israel. After both the Palestinian terrorists were shot dead for their attacks the PA condemned Israel for its “policy of escalation”, making no mention of the fact these assailants were shot as a result of their knife attacks on innocent Jewish civilians.
Arabic news service Al Jazeera joined in the PA propaganda with it’s misleading headline:
“Palestinian shot dead after fatal stabbing in Jerusalem; 2 Israeli victims also killed”.
According to PA propaganda all Jews are legitimate targets, including the two-year old infant who was knifed.
General Sultan Abu Al-Einen (who serves as Abbas’ adviser on NGOs’) not only praised the attack but called for more attacks on Israelis.
Sadly, these deaths should not shock a culture that names its streets, parks and even summer camps after terrorists and educates its children with tv programming that refers to Jews as “apes” and “pigs” while teaching children the glory of martyrdom.
These celebrations are the natural result of a populace that has been brainwashed from infanthood by its schools, music, literature, entertainment, social media and political leadership to blame the Jews for all Palestinian woes.
The Palestinian leadership promotes terrorists to serve as role models to the next generation – terror and murder become the Palestinian’s ticket to fame, honor and glory. In fact the terrorists honored most highly are those who have killed the greatest number.
Palestinian Media Watch reports how “Abd Al-Baset Udeh, killer of 30 at the Passover Seder massacre, had a soccer tournament for 14-year-olds named for him. His brother was honored with distributing the trophies. Dalal Mughrabi, terrorist bus hijacker (led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history in 1978, when she and other terrorists killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children) has had summer camps, schools, graduation ceremonies and sporting events named for her, as well as many TV documentaries honoring her”.
This culture of incitement and hate is a regular part of the Palestinian leadership’s method of control over its population. Without accepting and participating in such hatred you will not fit into mainstream Palestinian culture which shows why a recent poll indicated 57% want a return to armed resistance.
Many fear these attacks could be the start of a much wider campaign of terror. Is it any surprise when the Palestinian leadership spits out a steady stream of incitement.
Here are but a few examples recently tracked by Palestinian Media Watch:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned for years that Palestinian incitement had to stop for peace to move forward. Yet with each new attack Israel receives the brunt of world pressure to make concessions to the Palestinians.
The EU was quick to issue a statement of grievance for the violence but then link it to the necessity of giving the Palestinians their own state. Meanwhile Palestinian incitement remains unabated.
The conflict could best be summed up by another incident this weekend when Palestinians attacked an Israeli ambulance carrying a patient in critical condition. The patient? A Palestinian stabbed by a Palestinian who thought he was a Jew.
The British Prime Minister – David Cameron recently told his Conservative Party conference that the government will clamp down on Islamist hate preachers, and Islamic schools in the UK that promote hatred of none Muslims. At the same time he supported the Saudi Arabian’s bid to sit on the UN Human Rights Council. The Saudis are the main sponsors of hate preaching in Mosques and Islamic schools in the UK, and are amongst the worlds leading human rights abusers!
I wander if Cameron will stop funding Palestinian Authority indoctrination of Jew hatred in their schools. And stop giving British tax payers money to the PA, which is then paid to the families of terrorists on an upward sliding scale, depending on how many Jews they murdered.

Because nothing happened in the days immediately following the start of the 70th session of the UN General Assembly on September 15th, most people seem to think that we are not going to see a UN resolution formally recognizing a Palestinian state any time soon.
But according to the Jerusalem Post, such a resolution is still very much in play. France is still very much interested in introducing such a resolution, but they are not going to do it unless they have the support of the United States. In other words, the fate of a UN resolution setting the parameters for a Palestinian state is in the hands of Barack Obama.
For years, most observers have believed that a Palestinian state would only come into existence through direct negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians. But negotiations have totally broken down and there does not seem to be any hope that they will resume any time soon.
In a desperate attempt to move the peace process forward, France wants to introduce a new Security Council resolution that would formally recognize a Palestinian state once and for all and set the framework for what a final peace deal would look like. The following comes from a Jerusalem Post article that was published on September 26th…
The idea behind the French move for a new Security Council resolution is to set internationally agreed parameters for Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. The aim would be to reassure the Palestinians on what a final peace deal might look like and put international pressure on Israel to participate in serious and focused negotiations.
A UN resolution of this kind would bypass the need for consensus between the parties on terms of reference for final peace talks, which is precisely where the American- mediated peace effort broke down in early 2014.
But as I mentioned above, France will not introduce such a resolution unless it is already a done deal.
And the key to it being a done deal is to get the support of the Obama administration. Here is more from the Jerusalem Post…
The French have not yet finally decided on whether to go the Security Council route.
It will depend on the degree of international support, especially American, they have.
Even though 136 nations already recognize a Palestinian state, the U.S. government has always stood in the way of a UN Security Council resolution. But now that there seems to be little hope of peace talks resuming, Barack Obama is indicating that he may not stand in the way this time around. The following excerpt comes from a Los Angeles Times article…
“President Obama took a step toward a tougher line with Israel in an interview released Tuesday, raising the possibility that the U.S. will allow a United Nations vote on issues related to the Palestinians if the two sides make no meaningful movement toward peace.
In an interview with an Israeli television station, Obama noted that his administration has “up until this point” quashed such efforts at the U.N. while insisting that the Israelis and Palestinians must negotiate a resolution. But he said it is a challenge for the U.S. to keep demanding that the Palestinians negotiate in good faith if no one believes the Israelis are doing the same.
“How do we move off what appears right now to be a hopeless situation and move it back towards a hopeful situation?” Obama asked in the interview. “That will require more than just words. That will require some actions. And that’s going to be hard work, though, because right now I think there’s not a lot of confidence in the process.”
So if France does introduce such a resolution, what should we expect it to look like?
Well, the Jerusalem Post is reporting that it would likely look very much like the November 1947 UN General Assembly partition plan…
But if they do, the proposed resolution will likely refer to the November 1947 UN General Assembly partition plan, which called for the establishment of two states, one Jewish and one Arab, and which was jubilantly hailed by the Israeli state-in-the-making at the time. It will also seek to replace the 1967 UN Security Council Resolution 242, which called for land for peace without going into details as the preeminent international document on peacemaking between Israel and the Palestinians.
The proposed resolution will call for two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace; Jerusalem as the capital of both; borders along the 1967 lines with land swaps; and a satisfactory security package for Israel.
Obviously, surrendering any sovereignty over Jerusalem is something that the Netanyahu government will never, ever agree to.
So if the UN does adopt such a resolution, it will just raise tensions in the region. The Palestinians will feel legally entitled to east Jerusalem, and Israel will insist that it never agreed to give it up.
In the end, such a situation would inevitably result in war.
Personally, I believe that Barack Obama very much wants to see the establishment of a Palestinian state by the time he leaves office, and I also believe that we will definitely see a Palestinian state recognized by the UN at some point.
But I don’t believe that the “peace” that our global leaders are hoping for will last very long. In fact, I believe that an unprecedented war is coming to the Middle East.
If Barack Obama decides to go along with the UN resolution that France is pushing, I am convinced that the consequences for us will be absolutely disastrous as well. Trying to divide the land of Israel is one of the most foolish foreign policy decisions that we could possibly make.
So let us hope that the decision to formally recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations is put off for as long as possible.
In the end it will all come down to the attempt to divide Jerusalem. We see this in Daniel 9:24, were the prophet is told it’s all about his people and his holy city. I also think Solomon’s offer to divide the child is a prophetic image of what will happen…
1 Kings 3:16-28
Now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him. One of them said, “Pardon me, my lord. This woman and I live in the same house, and I had a baby while she was there with me. The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby. We were alone; there was no one in the house but the two of us.
“During the night this woman’s son died because she lay on him. So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I your servant was asleep. She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast. The next morning, I got up to nurse my son—and he was dead! But when I looked at him closely in the morning light, I saw that it wasn’t the son I had borne.”
The other woman said, “No! The living one is my son; the dead one is yours.”
But the first one insisted, “No! The dead one is yours; the living one is mine.” And so they argued before the king.
The king said, “This one says, ‘My son is alive and your son is dead,’ while that one says, ‘No! Your son is dead and mine is alive.’ ”
Then the king said, “Bring me a sword.” So they brought a sword for the king. He then gave an order: “Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other.”
The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved out of love for her son and said to the king, “Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don’t kill him!”
But the other said, “Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!”
Then the king gave his ruling: “Give the living baby to the first woman. Do not kill him; she is his mother.”
When all Israel heard the verdict the king had given, they held the king in awe, because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice.
I think it possible the Antichrist will come with a solution to Israel’s reluctance to divide Jerusalem. Possibly making it an international city, governed by the Vatican.

Have you heard of “the global goals”? If you haven’t heard of them by now, rest assured that you will be hearing plenty about them in the days ahead.
On September 25th, the United Nations launched a set of 17 ambitious goals that it plans to achieve over the next 15 years. A new website to promote this plan has been established. The formal name of this new plan is “the 2030 Agenda“, but those behind it decided that they needed something catchier when promoting these ideas to the general population.
The UN has stated that these new “global goals” represent a “new universal Agenda” for humanity. Virtually every nation on the planet has willingly signed on to this new agenda, and you are expected to participate whether you like it or not.
Some of the biggest stars in the entire world have been recruited to promote “the global goals”.
If you live in New York City, you are probably aware of the “Global Citizen Festival” that was held in Central Park on Saturday where some of the biggest names in the music industry promoted these new “global goals”. The following is how the New York Daily News described the gathering…
It was a party with a purpose.
A star-studded jamboree and an impassioned plea to end poverty rocked the Great Lawn in Central Park as more than 60,000 fans gathered Saturday for the fourth-annual Global Citizen Festival.
The feel-good event, timed to coincide with the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, featured performances by Beyoncé, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.
And it wasn’t just the entertainment industry that was promoting this new UN plan for a united world. Pope Francis traveled to New York to give the address that kicked off the conference where this new agenda was unveiled…
Pope Francis gave his backing to the new development agenda in an address to the U.N. General Assembly before the summit to adopt the 17-point plan opened, calling it “an important sign of hope” at a very troubled time in the Middle East and Africa.
When Danish Prime Minister Lars Rasmussen struck his gavel to approve the development road map, leaders and diplomats from the 193 U.N. member states stood and applauded loudly.
Then, the summit immediately turned to the real business of the three-day meeting — implementation of the goals, which is expected to cost $3.5 trillion to $5 trillion every year until 2030.
Okay, so where will the trillions of dollars that are needed to implement these new “global goals” come from?
Let me give you a hint – they are not going to come from the poor nations.
When you read over these “global goals”, many of them sound quite good. After all, who wouldn’t want to “end hunger”? I know that I would like to “end hunger” if I could.
The key is to look behind the language and understand what is really being said. And what is really being said is that the elite want to take their dream of a one world system to the next level.
The following list comes from Truthstream Media, and I think that it does a very good job of translating these new “global goals” into language that we can all understand…
Goal 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Translation: Centralized banks, IMF, World Bank, Fed to control all finances, digital one world currency in a cashless society
Goal 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Translation: Mass vaccination, Codex Alimentarius
Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
Translation: UN propaganda, brainwashing through compulsory education from cradle to grave
Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
Translation: Population control through forced “Family Planning”
Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
Translation: Privatize all water sources, don’t forget to add fluoride
Goal 7: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all
Translation: Smart grid with smart meters on everything, peak pricing
Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all
Translation: TPP, free trade zones that favor megacorporate interests
Goal 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
Translation: Toll roads, push public transit, remove free travel, environmental restrictions
Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries
Translation: Even more regional government bureaucracy like a mutant octopus
Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
Translation: Big brother big data surveillance state
Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
Translation: Forced austerity
Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*
Translation: Cap and Trade, carbon taxes/credits, footprint taxes
Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development
Translation: Environmental restrictions, control all oceans including mineral rights from ocean floors
Goal 15: Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss
Translation: More environmental restrictions, more controlling resources and mineral rights
Goal 16: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
Translation: UN “peacekeeping” missions (ex 1, ex 2), the International Court of (blind) Justice, force people together via fake refugee crises and then mediate with more “UN peacekeeping” when tension breaks out to gain more control over a region, remove 2nd Amendment in USA
Goal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development
Translation: Remove national sovereignty worldwide, promote globalism under the “authority” and bloated, Orwellian bureaucracy of the UN
The more you dig into the details, the more you realize just how insidious these “global goals” really are.
The elite want a one world government, a one world economic system and a one world religion. But they are not going to achieve these things by conquest. Rather, they want everyone to sign up for these new systems willingly.
The “global goals” are a template for a united world. To many, the “utopia” that the elite are promising sounds quite promising. But for those that know what time it is, this call for a “united world” is very, very chilling.

Russia has carried out its first air strikes in Syria shortly after receiving an official request of help from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and approval from the Russian parliament authorizing Vladimir Putin to send military troops into Syria.
Similar to the slow mission creep in the Ukraine, Russia’s rapid deployment to Syria for the first time in three decades is a far cry from the earlier excuse that Russia was only providing weapons and training to help the Syrian government army combat ISIS.
Russia has sent more than two dozen fighter aircraft, attack helicopters, surface-to-air missile defense systems and hundreds of troops to its only naval facility outside the former Soviet Union in the Syrian port of Tartus. However, new satellite images suggest two new military bases may be in the works to host Russian troops which suggest a much-expanded presence.
Russia has defended her actions as part of its national interests (Russia claims hundreds of its citizens are in Syria helping ISIS and could return home as a threat) and that it would only use its air force to strike ISIS. This is already being contradicted by the French Defense Minister who claims that the Russian strikes were in the Western part of the country where ISIS militants are not based and new reports suggest that the air strikes hit an area primarily held by anti-Assad rebels who are backed by the Central Intelligence Agency.
Russia has as much motivation to hit other rebel groups as it does ISIS in order to keep Assad in power and keep US supported groups from expanding their influence and reach. Syria’s main Western-backed opposition leader, Khaled Khoja, president of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, has already called Russia’s military involvement in the region an “invasion”.
These actions will have important repercussions for US policy in Syria and may present the US with no other option but to include Assad in any final political settlement. US allies Jordan and Turkey who were considering their own coordinated actions with the US to set up a buffer and no-fly zones in Syria to protect their borders will no doubt take a step back due to any increased tension with Russia.
Perhaps most worrisome for the US is a conflict of unintended consequences. Despite talks of coordination between the US and Russia, the way in which Russia warned the US of the air strikes and the US response seems to portray the exact opposite. A three-star Russian general was sent to the US embassy in Baghdad one hour before the attacks to give notice and warn the Americans to stay out of Syrian airspace. However, the US declined to change any of their missions and proceeded as usual.
The potential for an accidental exchange of fire will grow as each side vies to assert its authority in the region.
Israel is also greatly concerned that Russian actions will endanger its ability to strike Hezbollah targets in Syria and Lebanon who frequently use the conflict to transfer arms from Iran. However, like the US, Israel’s defense Minister has stressed Israel’s right to freedom of action over Syrian airspace when it felt its national security interests were threatened, including a specific warning that Israel will not tolerate Iranian troops near its border.
The scenarios for this crisis to spiral out of control are numerous and some Bible prophecy experts believe could be setting the stage for two important prophecies found in the Bible.
In Ezekiel 38, the prophet Ezekiel warned of a future war known as the war of “Gog and Magog” in which the people of Magog and their leader Gog will lead a coalition of nations (including Persia/Iran) to attack Israel.
Many Bible teachers believe historical records point to Russia as the descendants of the people of Magog which would seem to confirm Ezekiel’s warning that this invasion would be led from the people of the “far north.” Russia is the farthest country directly north of Israel. Prophecy scholars watch with fascination as Russia returns to the Middle East after a thirty-year absence and the positioning of its troops ever closer to Israel.
The 2nd prophecy is found in Isaiah 17 in which the prophet Isaiah warns that in the end times Damascus (the capital of Syria) would become a ruinous heap, never to be inhabited again (which suggests chemical or even nuclear confrontation).
Both of these Biblical prophecies appear to have just hit the fast forward button.
This could be the final step down the dead-end street for those who have argued that the Antichrist and Gog are one and the same person, and the people of the ‘far north’ are a Turkish led Muslim caliphate.
Daniel 11:40-45 speaks of the Antichrist’s battles during the ‘time of the end’. One of those whom he fights is the king of the north.
Now he’s not likely to be fighting himself is he Messrs Richardson, Shoebat and Company?
But for those who prefer exegesis to eisegesis. Note the recent news of China getting involved, and consider how that may be in fulfilment of Daniel 11:44.
What is happening right before our eyes is making it difficult for those who insist the ‘time of the end’ battles are confined to the final seven year Tribulation period.
